COLON DETOXIFICIATION

Detoxification
is the
process of clearing toxins and excess mucus from the body. These
toxins come from our diet, drugs, and the environment. Poor
digestion, colon sluggishness, a compromised liver and kidney
elimination = toxicity. Detoxification involves dietary/lifestyle
changes which reduce toxins and improve elimination. Avoid chemicals
form refined food, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs to
minimize the toxin load. When detoxifying your colon, it’s important
to incorporate probiotics in your diet to replenish the good
intestinal flora.
Colon
cleansing-
Bowel movements are the basis of your health. If you don't have at
least 1 bowel movement per day (preferably 2-3), you are on your way
toward disease. All refined sugar, white flour, hormone/antibiotic
filled meats and chemicals that we ingest, cause an assault on our
bodies. It’s no wonder that colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of
cancer deaths in the U.S.
All toxins
must
be removed, and it must begin with cleansing the bowel. A constipated
system caused slow transition time of toxic wastes. The longer the
"transit time," the longer toxic waste is in our bowel, allowing them
to putrefy, ferment and be reabsorbed. The longer your body is exposed
to putrefying food in your intestines, the greater the risk of
disease. Remember this: .......ALL
DISEASE begins with a toxic bowel.
Colon
Cleansing Program -
Removes the
Mucoid Plaque From the Colon. Even a thin layer of mucoid plaque
weakens the body. Nature intended mucoid plaque to be sloughed off.
But due to stress and diet, most Americans have many hardened layers
of mucoid plaque. The healthy colon weighs about 4 pounds. Some people
are carrying around as much as 40 pounds of impacted mucoid plaque! A
colon cleanse and detoxification program prepares your body for
optimal health by removing mucoid plaque. Doing Colonics is also
highly recommended (see Alan‘s ad below). Begin transitioning
to a diet rich in raw fruits and vegetables with very few cooked or
processed foods to help keep your digestive system free of mucoid
plaque. Regular/easy elimination will be the rule, toxins will not
build up and foods will be fully digested and utilized. This optimum
nutrition allows rejuvenation and peak vitality. Of course it was a
process of years or decades to get the body so full of plaque and
toxins, so it will be a process (although faster) to detoxify and get
your body pure and back to its highest possible state of health.
"Intestinal Cleanse" is a term referring to a procedure, which has as
its main goal- a clean bowel. A real "bowel cleanse" takes from 3 to 4
weeks up to a year, depending on the person. But don't get
discouraged, it's worth the time and effort to do this.
There are many
products on the market with names like "colon cleanse" or "bowel
cleanse". BUT! A real "intestinal cleanse" does not result just from
using a single product. Rather, it’s a procedure, which may include
use of many different products, a few days or weeks of FASTING,
lots of distilled water and a change in basic eating habits-lifestyle
for most people. A good intestinal detox will include a parasite
cleanse and many relaxing detox baths.
Detoxing may just be the best
thing you’ve ever done for yourself!
